FAQ

When is the deposit and remaining balance due?

Regular session: Deposit is due upon booking and remaining balance is due day of session, it is preferred the remaining balance be paid in cash.

Wedding: Deposit is due upon booking and remaining balance is due 2 weeks before wedding date, it is preferred the remaining balance be paid in cash or check

Do you shoot destination weddings?

I am located in Central Arkansas and do weddings all over the state.
There is a travel fee for outside central , but will be added in with your quote so please make sure to mention your wedding location at booking for an accurate price! See below for more travel fee info.

Contract & Policy

A contract and policy form MUST be signed and dated for all confirmed weddings. If you would like to view the policies and an mock up contract, just let me know and I will get them sent over!

Travel Fee

Wedding: 1 hour of travel time is included, after that there will be a travel fee charge. This charge will have to be discussed with the photographer and final fee will be given once location is discussed. Additionally, if the ceremony & reception are more than 20 miles apart from each other there will be an additional travel fee that will be added into your total.

Regular, bridal or engagement session: Any client suggested location outside 40 miles from NLR will be subject to a travel fee. Please consult with photographer for further information.

Deposits & Cancelations

Regular session: Deposits are due to book your date/time and it also serves as a cancelation fee. You will be given the option to reschedule your session. Read full policy info in the link below!

Wedding: For weddings and events, if for any reason the client cancels before the wedding date, the photographer will keep the event retainer fee paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancelation fee.
Cancellation must be sent in writing by mail or email. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, I will do my best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as I have the new date available. If I am to available for the new date, the original contract will be canceled and subject to the cancellation policy.

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Weddings: unfortunately no, so please be sure to add in all of your time that you will need me there to make sure your big day is covered!

Regular sessions: Yes/No - If I have no one booked ahead of you, then I am perfectly fine with extending our session! But if I have other clients booked close to your time slot, unfortunately I cannot delay other clients of their session.

What if I am late?

I do my best to allow for some give in between sessions, but there is a chance that if you are late your full session that you might have to wait until the next available slot opens that day or if there is not any available you will be given the option of to rebook for a different day.

Will there be a second shooter?

I am flying solo right now, but I am currently on the search for the right wing man! A second shooter will be an option offered in the future, fingers crossed!

What kind of gear do you use?

My go to is my Canon 80D with my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens - I do have multiple different lens though to make sure I capture my subjects perfectly! I love natural lighting, but do carry a on camera flash for those not-the-best -lighting situations.
